Astrocartography maps your natal chart onto the Earth. Each planet draws lines across the globe where it was rising, setting, or culminating at the moment of your birth. Being close to those lines tends to colour your experience of that place.

The lines themselves are astronomy, not opinion: ELA Map computes them from JPL DE440, the same ephemeris data NASA uses. If a line is drawn through Lisbon, that is where it is. What a line means is interpretation: a lens for noticing patterns between your chart and places, not a machine that predicts events.

The astrology and Human Design text is written by people and kept in a curated library. Software selects the entries that apply to your chart and place, and a light edit pass smooths them into one read. Nothing is invented by a chatbot.

At the moment you were born, every planet was rising somewhere on Earth, setting somewhere else, and directly overhead along one line of longitude. Recompute your chart for every point on the globe and those positions join up into lines: your Sun line, your Venus line, and so on. ELA Map does that computation for all ten planets and draws the result on the map, then adds a written reading for any line or city you tap.
